What Does Javed Sheikh Recommend for Bollywood's Khans?
In Pakistan, as of April 10 — Actor Javed Sheikh mentioned that he hasn’t crossed paths with Bollywood’s Khans—Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan—in quite a while. However, when such meetings occur, he feels compelled to counsel them on refining their portrayals to be more refined. Sheikh recently addressed the underperformance of Indian cinema at the box office, specifically critiquing the weak storyline of Salman Khan's "Sikandar," which did not meet audience expectations. According to him, one significant factor contributing to the decline in popularity of Bollywood films stems from the rising influence of streaming platforms like Netflix. The veteran Pakistani performer further suggested that these renowned actors ought to adapt their acting styles according to evolving standards across different eras. Additionally, he recommended that each film should showcase improved characterization rather than being confined within certain boundaries. He emphasized advising them to approach roles without limiting themselves.
