Nigerian Military Leaders Tour Ethiopia's Revolutionary Police Reforms
On April 9, 2025, a Nigerian Military Resource Center delegation arrived at the Ethiopian Federal Police Headquarters to participate in bilateral talks and examine current reform efforts.
Assistant Commissioner Dejene Bekele, who is also the acting head of the Ethiopian Federal Police International Relations and Cooperation Department, has warmly welcomed the delegation.
During his visit, Dejene gave a summary of the organization's activities and current initiatives.
The group was able to inspect several police vehicles fitted with cutting-edge tech such as contemporary digital radio systems, an operational command center, the real-time tip hotline (991), the Community Involvement mobile app (EFPApp), top-tier surveillance cameras, along with additional safety gear.
Based on the report from the Ethiopian Federal Police, the delegation members conveyed their contentment regarding the visit and offered their appreciation to the high-ranking leaders.
