"Recovering from a setback is common, but currently, I'm doing much better and am part of the Mama Amina Rescue Team. In this team, I serve as a bodyguard. Together, we've been assisting Mike Sonko, who has greatly benefited from our support. It’s important for people to understand that experiencing setbacks is quite usual and isn’t overly complex," she stated.
Currently based at the Mombasa Women Rehabilitation Empowerment Centre, the ex-boxing champion has recuperated and secured employment, which keeps her actively involved and empowered as she assists other patients.
She likewise expressed her conviction that ex-journalist Kimani Mbugua, who is presently hospitalized at the same place after returning due to a relapse, will also get better.
"I strongly believe that Kimani will also succeed because we have Eunice Omollo with us and she is performing well.
